Claire- Recorded on 25th Street in Southwest in the back storage room of the Z residence. A CZ-101 and a Moog Concertmate MG-1 join the group, bringing heady oscillation and an inkling of a melody to the meandering and plodding of drum and tape machines. Something about lectures on the real, and what is, and what is not. I was still basking in the afterglow of my first solo LSD trip one year prior and just realizing things, man. Suspended and Paranoid??

Matt- Highly productive jamming in that backroom. Maybe the only place in the house that didn't fully succumb to the flea infestation early on. We became very thorough in our performance planning around this time. Notes, crib sheets et al. The voice(s) on 'New Reader' are from a court stenographer practice tape that made its way into our possession. Didn't bring any weed into Canada so I mooched cigs off of Claire who was a proper cig rolling factory on this tour. Drove home right after the last gig so she could fly to Paris the next morning.
